3/7/20 – Our First Blog Post

The C2C gang has been making some big moves and major purchases! This week Sarah and I went door to door in West Hartford town center to ask local business for donations for our trip. We are so grateful to Bartaco and Shish Kebab House of Afghanistan for the giftcards they so generously donated. (Make sure you keep an eye out for these during our Faculty Auction).

On Tuesday, we hosted our second Tribe spin class and celebrated Mary Kate’s 25th birthday! We are so amazed by all the support they have given us and we absolutely love their spin classes ❤

Yesterday, thanks to Coronavirus (:O) we purchased our oneway tickets to Seattle, WA. It is official, the date is set, and we begin our ~3,500 mile journey on Saturday, June 6th. Hoorah!

This morning, to add further insult to our bank accounts, we stopped at Central Wheel in Farmington, CT. We bought the sweet Fuji Touring bicycles that will be getting us from Seattle back to Connecticut. They should be ready in about two weeks! And since the weather in CT has been eerily warm the last few weeks, we are so excited to take advantage of it once our bikes arrive. Watch out Farmington roads, here we come.
